Some inspirational quotes:

“Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Appreciate your friends. Continue to learn. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.”
- Mary Anne Radmacher

“Strive to be first: first to nod, first to smile, first to compliment, and first to forgive.”
- Anonymous

“Take control of your destiny. Believe in yourself. Ignore those who try to discourage you. Avoid negative sources, people, places, things and habits. Don't give up and don't give in.”
-Wanda Hope Carter

“Whatever I have tried to do in life, I have tried with all my heart to do it well; whatever I have devoted myself to, I have devoted myself completely; in great aims and in small I have always thoroughly been in earnest.”
- Charles Dickens

“Don't wait for extraordinary opportunities. Seize common occasions and make them great. Weak men wait for opportunities; strong men make them.”
- Orison Swett Marden

“Live life fully while you're here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You're going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don't try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human.”
- Anthony Robbins

“Remember, there are no mistakes, only lessons. Love yourself, trust your choices, and everything is possible.”
- Cherie Carter-Scott

“Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you'll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you'll find that you have more of it.”
- Ralph Marston

“Dream your dream. Follow your heart. Imagine. Listen to the wind. Drink sunsets. Be free. Let the wonder never cease. Believe. Wish on EVERY star. Create adventure. Be Kind.”
- Debbie Coulter
Scared.
Hurt.
Traumatized.
HEARTBROKEN.
I have been in constant relationships,
With & without a title.
For once, I decided to try to be by myself,
To get to know me.
To have fun.
Lately, there have been pursuers,
As nice as the attention is,
I make sure that I don't lead anyone,
Because I know the last thing I want to do is to be lead on.
I'll tell it how it is.

12 Easy Tips for a Happier Relationship

1. Say "please" and "thank you." This shows your partner you appreciate them and keeps you from taking each other for granted.

2. Grab your partner's butt every day (or at least every other day).

3. Kiss every morning!

4. Say "good morning" every morning.

5. Cuddle.

6. Spend at least one night a week with your significant other and family/friends, i.e. don't hole up all by yourselves.

7. Use baby talk/pet names very sparingly. If you overuse these, you could damage your relationship since you won't be able to relate to each other seriously.

8. DO THE DISHES. Set up some type of system for who does them when.

9. Practice listening.

10. Practice honesty, even when it's uncomfortable.

11. If you and your partner are indecisive about where to eat or what movie to watch, play the "5-3-1" game. One person names five choices, the other vetoes two of them, and then the first person eliminates the remaining two. Ta-da, no more "Where you do want to eat?" "I don't care, what do you want to do?" (From 8 Relationship Tricks Happy Couples Use)

12. If you live together, make sure you each still have your own private space where you can retreat to work, think, or partake in bizarre grooming rituals that the other person wouldn't want to see.

“This life is what you make it. Not matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes, it's a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you're going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends - they'll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything - they're your true best friends. Don't let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they'll come and go too. And babe, I hate to say it, most of them - actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can't give up becuase if you give up, you'll never find your soul mate. You'll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don't, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about.”

Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy.
I've been meaning to write something for a while, but me being easily distracted & the inability to sit still for a moment makes it impossible to put my thoughts down.  I just finished walking around the neighborhood (yes this late in the night, don't worry, I wasn't alone.)

2011 has just past, in recap, I FINALLY obtained a RN job, at first it wasn't the ideal job considering it was at a nursing facility, but I managed to deal with it & was able to make some friends at the same time.  In the middle of the year, I got into a hospital, it's a hospital that doesn't have the best reputation, but with persistence of calling the manager (whom I REALLY like & get along with), I got hired, by myself, with no other connections.  Besides having a great manager, I enjoy most of my co workers, & it's a great place to be at, & I am happy, although, a pay increase wouldn't hurt.  Getting the job at a hospital, and having to look around for jobs, made me realize a constant lesson, you can't depend on anyone else but yourself.  Along with getting hired and learning a new job, I was dealing with the end of a relationship, & also going back to school, to be honest, I was burnt out & overwhelmed.  With the help of friends & even family, I got through it all & passed all my classes, for that, I was grateful.

The past couple of months that I have been recently single, I've been getting back into shape, I was at my heaviest while being in the last relationship, I even had to tell a couple of friends, "how dare you let me get that fat." Of course it wasn't their fault, & I should have realized it by looking at pictures, but I was happy.  I'm happy that he & I are on good (civil) terms & there are no animosity between us.

I've been trying to find myself again, because whenever a person is in a relationship, they tend to lose themselves & now I'm just trying to get to know myself all over again.  I've compromised more than I should have & I'm slowly learning my mistakes.  I've made a lot of new friends & reconnected with ones that I already had & within time, I realized that the relationship wasn't meant to last forever, & that the result of the end of the relationship was for the best.  As always I've been one to resist change, & I have to keep reminding myself to welcome it as hard as it may be & to understand that God is having things happen for a reason.  I truly believe that as difficult life may be, God wouldn't put you through things that you were unable to handle.  God wouldn't have you go through things without the necessary tools such as, friends & family.  There are so many things to learn & things to enjoy in life that I don't think I'm ready to settle down nor compromise who I really am to fit someone else.  Maybe if someone comes along that is willing to run along side with me, I'm willing to open up, but as of right now, the last relationship has had me guarded & hesitant into getting into anything serious.
